Cryptodog: Not the Deepweb

You have found Cryptodog. You will not be welcomed because you are not special. Chances are you found this site from one of three places:
* A random Tor index site
* The Chrome extension store
* A udemy course

Because Cryptodog experiences repetitive questions and comments from people like you, I have compiled a quick tip sheet, so I will not have to tell you to leave upon entry.

  1. Not all users are Tor users.

Actually, most aren’t. So don’t be annoying about all those tor tips and tricks you’re dying to know about. Cryptodog can be accessed through this website here, which can be found via plain jane Google:
https://cryptodog.github.io/cryptodog/
We also have a chrome extention, if you want the doge symbol forever imprinted on your toolbar.

  1. Literally no one will give you links.

Do not, under any circumstances, ask for deepweb / darkweb links. Both because it’s annoying as all hell, and because we don’t have them. And please, PLEASE, don’t ask for a redroom. What is actually wrong with you?

  1. “Cryptodog is not a magic bullet.”

Cryptodog is an easy to use encrypted messenger. It started off as Cryptocat 2.2, but was forked to Cryptodog when it was abandoned and reimplemented by the original developer, Nadim Kobeissi. It has known security bugs, and more are being found and fixed all the time.

  1. Cryptodog is a community.

As with all communtities, it has it’s own culture and a group of members that call it home. Have some respect before taking your shoes off and getting comfortable.
