All manipulations should be global and linear. The following manipulations are generally accepted:

The following manipulations could be considered as scientific misconducts - these manipulations could mislead viewers:

  1. Adding or subtracting features.
  2. Changing gamma
  3. Partial enhancement of a specific feature
